Alisyn Camerota
Alisyn Camerota, journalist, writer, anchor for CNN's morning program "New Day" as well as a Westport, CT resident, is elected to the board of trustees for Westport Country Playhouse. Camerota is journalist for more than thirty years, has covered stories both nationally and internationally. She won one Emmy Award in her early career when she covered the arrest of Roger Stone and the Edward R.Murrow Award after she broke the devastating news of the hurricane Maria. Johnna G. Torsone, from Stamford was appointed Honorary Trustees for her work on the Board of Trustees since 2007. Anna Czekaj Farber of Westport was elected chair of the board following her tenure on the board since 2013. Czekaj-Farber replaces Barbara Streicker of Westport, who has been the chair of the board since October of 2015 and has continued serving on the board since. There there are 26 trustees on The Playhouse's board at The Playhouse.
