Aspen Ladd
Aspen Ladd started her combat sports training at the age of 14. She trained in boxing kickboxing wrestling and BJJ before making her amateur debut at age 18 at WCFC with Jaimee Nievera. Ladd gained momentum from this victory and then went on to a three-fight win streak at Ultimate Reno Combat finishing her opponents within the first round in all the fights. She returned to WCFC and defeated Leslie Rodriguez through a unanimous decision. Aspen first defeated Silvia Babyghian before going on to take on Maddy Simmons at WCFC 9 and fought Cynthia Calvillo. Cynthia beat Aspen to defeat her in a unanimous vote, leaving a black mark on Ladd's record in her amateur. Ladd bounced back from defeat with a win over Roma Pawelek in Tuff-N'-Uff, bringing her record up to 8-1. Aspen was a professional when she entered the ranks in the year 2015. Aspen signed with Invicta FC and made her debut. Invicta Fc 11 she dominated Ana Carolina Vidal and won the first round by TKO. Invicta Fc16 was Aspen's debut fight as a bantamweight. Aspen defeated Amanda Cooper with an armbar in second round. Aspen's impressive wrestling skills defeated McGill as she was able to end her fight in the third round with a TKO (elbows and punches). She next fought Jessica Hoy at Invicta FC 18 at catchweight(138.1lb) as Ladd did not reach her weight, but Aspen was a dominant Hoy and finished her in the second round by KO. In her last fight for the promotion, she defeated Sijara Eubanks by unanimous decision at Invicta FC 21. Aspen Ladd was the first UFC fighter to debut. She fought Linalansberg at UFC Fight Night 118. She defeated Lina by grounding and pounding her before prevailing by TKO in second round. She maintained her dominance as she picked up another big win over Tonya Avinger at UFC 229 with her next bout. Ladd stopped Evinger's fight after the first round. Also, she was awarded an extra bonus for her performance that night. The first big fight she fought in was in her next fight at UFC Fight Night dos Anjos in which she faced. Lee against Sijara Eubanks in the Invicta FC rematch. The two fighters had one of the most competitive fights that Ladd beat by a unanimous decision. Both fighters received an award called the Fight of the Night Bonus. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie finished Ladd after 16 seconds and ended her winning streak. Yana Knitskaya lost by Ladd in the third round of UFC 7 on ESPN. In a match that was a replacement in the UFC, Norma Dumont was her opponent. The fight was a unanimous decision.
